Last year while on holiday on the last day of our holiday we went to Lakeland Wildlife Oasis , entrance prices are Adult £8.95 Child (aged 3-15) £5.95, Senior, £6.95 Family (2+2) £24.95 Children under 3 are FREE, though from the holiday park that we was stopping at there was a large leaflet about all the places in Cumbria and the Lake District and there was money off vouchers, the one for the lakeland wildlife oasis was a buy on get one free entry, these leaflets were available from local tourist places aswell, so look out for one if your are in the area.

Upon entering you go through the gift shop, then into the indoor you go through the tropical hall with snakes, reptiles etc, there are also small aquariums with also a butterfly house. The outside there are several enclosures with an Avery with lots of different of different species of birds. Also meerkats and loads of other animals, though because been a while since we was there I cant remember all of the animals within the park. The main attraction is the Snow Leopard which has a large enclosure with a tunnel that you can walk through ans see all around, the time we went the snow leopard was sitting on top of the tunnel so go a great view of it from underneath. We spent around 2hrs going around, though the day we went was a bit cold and wet so we didn’t really enjoy the visit completely. Two of the kids did really enjoy the small play area that is within the park.

I have been to several wildlife places so they are all really the same, but I really did enjoy going through the butterfly area. Lakeland wildlife oasis well worth a visit if you are around the area, We would visit again if we was that way again.
