Aldi (Auto XS) Heated Car Seat Cover / Pad Review

Just noticed that Aldi are selling heated seat covers again for just [£10.99] (https://www.aldi.co.uk/auto-xs-black-heatable-car-seat-pads/p/096844226927400) or a twin pack for £21.98 (so not saving by having the twin pack instead of single) , I have had one of these for now just under 2 years, as aldi were selling these at £7.99 at one point and while shopping in there I looked at it and the missus got me one for Christmas. Normally I do write about products I have got but forgot about this one and now because back on sale though would share my thoughts.

They are will fit in any car. They have straps and clips so can attrach to some where under the seat. In my old car a Renault Scenic it fitted great, though in my new car a Citreon C4 picasso couldn’t fully clip it on, so the front straps do keep popping off. It doesn’t help that I have to have an orthopedic cushion underneath. But not a great problem as it is the bottom, once you are sat on it it doesn’t move. The back has straps

It is powered from a standard cigarette lighter 12v, the cable is a good length and has a switch inline with three positions: high, off and low. To be honest when using it I normally have on the high setting. It does have an auto cut off so when reaches 55°C, so will cut off until temp reaches 45°C and powers back on.

On cold days the heated seat pad is useful as does take the chill away, there are times that I have had to either switch it off or to low as dies feel bit to warm. Now my mind is nearly 2 years old, and have had it on my seat permanently and the material seems to have held up and the heating part still works.

So these are a great way to add heated seats to your car if you haven’t already got built in heated seats. I have to say its not just aldi that sell these as there are other manufacturers, as I got another one from a market seller and the design, material is the same other than the manufacturer is Ultimate speed and the Aldi one is made by Auto XS, have seen others from discount retailers like B and M (RAC Make) , Poundstrecher, home bargains etc that look the same aswell
