Just though I would share this, the national trust are doing a free weekend this weekend the 20th and 21st march 2010, this is free entry to their attractions, so a great time to visit a national trust site.

I know I like going to national trust sites, especially my 9 year daughter loves going round the houses and gardens, this year looks like they are trying to get more interactive and some places removing the ropes around the sites, so you can get closer to the history. I know my daughter loved going around the places we have visited with the quizzes they sometimes do, like having to spot things around a house or gardens. I know she enjoys it, so pretty good for all the family and being free entry this weekend well worth a look at your local sites.
