Helping my Brother Fitting New Swivel Seats & fixing Door On Old Talbot Swift Campervan

My brother has a 1986 Talbot swift campervan, there are a few jobs to do so decided to video us doing them, so in this episode we fit new swivel seats he got, they are from a different vehicle to we had to modify them. so watch the video for the fun we had. Also in this video we sort out the door latch as he had problems locking the passenger door after he had to replace it as was crumbling away.

Compared to my little camper his is massive, but like I say in the video he does craft festivals , so he needs to the room, and if you haunt checked out my camper build have a look at my Peugeot partner car that I converted from scratch to a little micro camper with everything i need for my little trips away that i film with the photography side, so have a look at my channel for more info. and please consider SUBSCRIBING as does help the channel grow.

He also has a YouTube channel so click the link below or in the video, to go to his channel and subscribe there for his take on what we have done.

He brough it around 12 months ago, unfortunately he has had a few problems, the one we had to sort out from the begging was all 3 skylights were leaking he got new ones and we fixed those into place with new batons as they were rotted away. in turn this let water in, so caused a bit of damage to the sleeping / storage area above the cab, so the interior sides have got to be rebuild so that’s the next job on the list, If you go to his channel he has been posing updates on the whole process.

A few of the other jobs we have to do is seal some leaks around the window and vent, The one main one is we got the gas working, so does have the grill and cooker working, but the boiler isn’t working as there is a problem with a seal , so water just leaks out, so that mean he doesn’t have hot water and cant shower. Other jobs ink spray paining door, sorting different clips out, redoing electric control panel, sorting heating both car and camper heating, general tidy, fix holes, re-carpet cab, redo dash, as writing trying to remember as there are a fair few,

Like anything there is also more to do, I will be helping as much as possible but due to my degenerative spinal problems it can be tricky, i.e. this video was over 2 days and only about 5-6hrs each day with breaks. and after I got back from the second day couldn’t move at all, was in so much pain didn’t sleep and only had 2hrs and the next day was a write off . See the video below where I talk about how my condition affect me. so make sure you sub to both our channels as he will also update on the progress on the things he does on his own, and again sub to mine for the travel vlogs and my camper updates.
