Solar eclipse March 2015

Spread the love

Here are some of the photos that I took of the solar eclipse on March 20th 2015.
These were took using a Panasonic superzoom bridge camera,  some I did use filters including diffuser and polarised. They were taken from the back garden in brownhills,  West Midlands,  as we did have clear skies.
Unfortunately I didn’t get the special glasses to look at the sun direct,  so didn’t get to see the eclipse in all its glory,  I do remember the last one in 1999. I did think even though in the Midlands we had around 85% of the sun covered by the moon it would have been a bit darker than it was,  but still great to see.

Not great images but thought would share them anyway.
