Its hard to believe that it is 4 years since Chasewater reservoir started to be emptied, see my previous posts in 2010 and 2011 for details. Having a hour free this afternoon I decided to go and have a quick walk around Chasewater. It is full to the brim because of all the rain we have had recently. The overflow system seen to be working well.

Can’t believe that when chasewater was empty you could walk from one side to the other and also you could go walk right underneath the pier, now the water is only a few inches under the rim of the boardwalk, It really dosnt seem that long ago at all though now been 4 years how time flies eh 🙂

Unfortunately I choose the wrong day to have a walk over there as was really muddy in places so didn’t full walk around, did walk across the dam towards the beach end though the wind was really fierce, at the bench end the was upto the top few steps to get down.

I did take a few photos including a panoramic shot from the top of the castle, which are below.
