Pelsall Carnival 2012

We went today to the annual Pelsall Carnival, we arrived a bit later than we would normal at about 12, as we had other commitments with the kids for beaver camp. The Market that was there I assume would have been more stalls, bet there was a lot and because of both market trader and car booters they was some good bargains. there was also the Pat Collins Fun faire and also stall with all different charities and the arena with different things going on. We watched while the new carnival queen got her crowning, then got ready for the parade from last years event, it was a great turn out with the floats and groups. The people on route was also more than last year, even though as the parade started the rain starting coming down really heavy aswell, but was well worth it. The kids did enjoy it,  Unfortunatly I wasn’t feeling me best today so didn’t get any photos but the other half took a video of the parade going past, see below, so we didnt stop that long after the parade this year.

So with a great turn out this year I hope this annual local event goes from strength to strength, but is down to the local people with donations and support for this event to continue and likewise other local event like this.
